Ukrainian developer GSC Game World has debuted a feature length and emotionally driven documentary about its upcoming release, Stalker 2.
The documentary, War Game: The Making of Stalker 2, touches on the developer’s history and details what it has been like to work on the forthcoming sequel during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Since 2022, GSC has delayed Stalker 2 delayed several times and relocated staff to safely finish the project elsewhere, while others have joined Ukraine’s armed forces, and dealt with Russian hackers who leaked test builds.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno is leaving Capcom after “30 years and five months”.
Itsuno – who’s best known for his work on Dragon’s Dogma and Devil May Cry – says he’s leaving to “start developing a new game in a new environment”, with hopes his new projects will be “even more memorable than the ones [he has] created so far”.
Itsuno did not confirm at this time if he was leaving to join another studio, or if he planned to establish his own.
